HOWARTH DESIGN SERVICES
What We Offer
SITE SURVEYING
Measure, Levels & Pictures
The site survey can be quite a time consuming element, depending on the size and existing landscaping. During the process I will be taking detailed measurements of the garden, along with levels of key areas. To assist me in the design process I will also take a selection of pictures and a short video, focusing on particular view points into the space.
DESIGN PACKAGE
Garden Design, 3D renders & Construction Plans
Using the notes taken on the initial consultation and further discussions, I will start to collate brief ideas. Using Pinterest or Google, I will ask the client to send a selection of 10 - 15 images outlining key features and themes they would like to see within the design.

Once I believe there is a clear brief I will start to produce two 2D concepts, this process can take two - three weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. When all designs are complete and ready I will arrange a design presentation meeting, this can be in person or video call, during this process I will state material choices and provide samples to help visualise the designs.

I also offer a 3D rendering package, this element of the project is to be carried out once there is a final master plan is in place, this can provide you with the opportunity to walk through the proposed space virtually. Any alterations required beyond this stage will only be reflected within the 2D plans.

Finally, once the design stage is complete and the client is happy with the proposed plan, I also offer a construction plan stage. During this element, I will quantify the master plan and provide side elevations for specific areas such as steps or bespoke pergolas.
DESIGN MANAGEMENT
Attention to detail
The design management is an optional extra, during this process I will book in site visits during curtail stages of the build, this will give myself the opportunity to ensure the design has been fulfilled.

Should any issues arise during the build, I will also be on hand to advise of any design or material changes that may impact the design fundamentally.
